are Awaken Paradise Property Consultants ?
We are an independently owned family business based in Barbados.

do we do ?
We oversee all aspects of
building a property, we will organise and liaise with each of the elements involved in the planning and building process, I.E. builders,
architects, planners, lawyers, land owners etc.

we earn our money ?
By ensuring the whole process
is professionally managed and organised to make sure that your property is
built to the standard and within the timescale that is expected.

mistakes do people make when building a property in Barbados ?
One of the biggest mistakes is
letting your heart rule your head, Barbados may be a
beautiful island and a fantastic place to live, but there are many
individuals and businesses out there that will promise the world and deliver
nothing but broken dreams. Do not rush and always make sure that you take
professional advice.

laws do I need to know about ?
There are no property laws to
prevent any local or foreigner from buying and owning a house or land in
Barbados.
6. How
long does it take to complete a project ?
Each project varies depending
on its specific complexities, for example if you were to buy a piece of land
and then build a house on it, it could take between 12 - 15 months to
complete. But if you owned a piece of land with planning permission it could
take between 6 - 9 months on average.
7. How
much does it cost to build a property in Barbados ?
It depends on various factors,
for example it could cost you millions to buy land and build a house on the
Platinum coast, or you could buy a piece of land and build 3 bedroom family
home inland for from £150,000.
